Here's what's going on:

I just started my new job last Monday. I work as an Assistant Media Planner for Zenith Media, the media company in West Village Manhattan, part of the ever big dream family tree of Publicis. The commute is pretty much similar from the Paranaque to Makati days. With the absence of a tricycle. I can't believe I work in advertising, in New York City. If someone told me this was gonna be my life years ago I would've just laughed. HAHA. I work in WEST VILLAGE yo. Wooooooooooooooooo.... wake up wake up wake up Mades!

So how was it? I'm working overtime already! All the exciting stuff with planning is done for the oh-seven media plan..... so now, I'm just a cube monkey managing information for the account. I can't wait until I get to interact with the Media Buyers. Or meet other people in other accounts. I swear the office behind me is owned by the gayest closet queen EVER. Everytime me and my friend go for lunch it's yuppie central..... we have every benefit IMAGINABLE from medical, dental, optometry, legal counsel, 401k to massage therapists and nutritionists going in the office.

THere's a lot to learn and they're happy to train you for it... from studying media softwares to media planning and media buying 101. Hmmm my first week wasn't so bad. I'm kinda getting in the grind of things. Plus, hell... I love New York!
