I officially love it. I am hyper busy, they're training me on things I thought I knew about.... massage therapists in the office, free tickets to Knick's games, broadway shows... media parties. When you're in the office past 8 o clock a black Mercedes drives you home with a chauffeur.

No. It's not a company car. There are no other passengers and you don't have to wait your turn. The car... the driver, it's their responsibility to take YOU home. Just YOU. No carpools here. And you don't pay a thing. (Of course)

Tomorrow, I have advanced training on Excel, last week I get to learn how to use Ad Spend and Stradegy software. I am learning much more than I bargained for. I'm facing real numbers of Ad Spending and Media sheets and I'm helping put together the Competitive Analysis for Scion Toyota (our account). I am learning more about car brands and actually notice them on the road now.

The cafeteria offers great food. Pasta, soup, sandwiches. Sometimes they even serve Italian and Indian. There are at least 4 chefs to do your bidding. There is a kitchen in the floor that I work in, that has at least 8 different flavors of coffee.... you know those coffee vending machines? We have those back there.... and it's for free. And ours has option of serving hot chocolate.

There is constantly free food in the office. (Don't ask me why) And media vendors always sends free gifts and goodies (massage anyone?) I have yet to find out why that shoe shiner dude is by the corner every morning.

I just signed up for my benefits. I get medical, dental, vision, life insurance and investment options. Plus, I get free transit money. On the next weeks, I will probably get my medical insurance card and my automated refillable metro card.

This coming April, my account team and I get free press passes to the New York Auto show.

*sigh*

It's a lot to give up.

They don't do h1 sponsorships for entry and mid level positions. Ugh. Why can't green cards grow on trees?

So I'll stay in this job until I find another who actually agrees to do my paper work.

Slapped by life's crazy misadventure once again.
