i've never been much of an active blogger since i first started last september 2004, but everything that is happening seems so wonderfully immense that i have to chronicle every moment. just so in the future down days, i would look back and read this blog and say... that yes. i've done something with my life. i've been given so much happiness and joy and experiences. and right now, i couldn't help but ponder the realness of that comment.

i've been given SO MUCH.

and just for ToDAY, at 11:35 am at the latest.... here are my blessings:

(i know, i know, i sound like an unknown preacher just bear with me for a few)

1. i woke up today hearing old school filipino songs blaring from my cousin's bedroom.... gary valenciano's 'kailangan kita' ... side a's 'umagang kay ganda'... the first thing i did when i opened my eyes this morning?

SMILE.
i love mornings like these.

2. breakfast (orange juice, rice, tocina, bangus) with conversations interspersed with laughter and stories, college basketball (here, which i still fail to communicate with... i guess nothing still beats UAAP)

3. phone call from dad. good morning mi papa. as much as possible. i want my family to experience things while they visit me here. i want them to go around different states, make it a REAL vacation. not just an excuse to go to my graduation. coz seriously, they've already given me SO MUCH. it's their turn to smile and be awed.

4. listening to worship songs while i write this. it's so soothing. especially in the morning. i will never stray away from catholicism. even if i have already experienced praying in a buddhist temple or go every sunday to baptist masses... really people, it's all about faith. God will forever be my cosmic muffin.

cheers for a wonderful morning. i'm gonna get ready to go to rockafeller center.

didn't i just say i've already been given so much?

*sigh*

i love living.
